West Cork Kayaking Club was formed on the 12th of February 2012 in Skibbereen.

We promised on that day to provide a means to safer group paddling in the future. We encourage people of all ages and ability to take up kayaking. We are committed to our community and will help out in any way we can. We meet at Tragumna every week from May to October.

All are welcome, we provide equipment free of charge. Anyone is welcome to come and try us out, no pressure! All you need is a wetsuit and some footwear that you don't mind getting wet, we'll provide the rest! Just message or comment on our Facebook page. Members meet every weekend and throughout the week for a paddle whether it's kayak surfing, sea kayaking or whitewater. Somewhere new every week! These coastal paddles are open to members who have paddled at lough Hyne already. We paddle SAFE everytime.
