About Us

West Cork Kayaking Club was formed on the 12th of February 2012 in Skibbereen. We promised on that day to provide a means to safer group paddling in the future. We encourage people of all ages and ability to take up kayaking and
we are committed to our community and will help out in any way we can.

We meet at Tragumna every week. All are welcome.

We provide equipment free of charge.
Anyone is welcome to come and try us out, no pressure!

Members meet every weekend for a variety of kayaking trips, including Sea Kayaking, Kayak Surfing, Whitewater etc. Somewhere new every week! These paddles are open to members who have paddled at lough Hyne already and are members of the club.
